  • 3" Stainless Exhaust Repairs

    Chaps,

The exhaust on mine has started to blow and needs sorting out, also needs some adjustment and re welding so it fits better and there is no way Im taking it back to the place that made it in Watford so I am looking for recommendations on where to take in not too far from Bedford.

    Any suggestions?

I would also check into Pipewerx and Prospeed but they are a bit of a distance away, ask Quattronutter who he uses in Northampton, I can't remember.

Since you are within driving distance of me Greg, could you do me a favour?

I desperately need to dump my 2.5" system as it is obviously draining power (I was 83dB at ADI ) but I don't want it much louder so I am leaning towards the 2.75".

Therefore, where ever you go, could you ask the cost of a new 2.75" and new 3" cat back system (including and not including a decent sports cat)?

Sorry to be cheeky but you might get better service if they know you are shopping for 2 identical cars

        Cheers n

You want a 3" downpipe and then 2.75 inch from cat back, less restriction this way.

The sounds is all down to the boxes, if you go to powerspeed they specialise in custom boxes that dampen noise.

It's the place Will Hoffman used on his quattro in PPC
