wont sound as well as you think, i did a golf for a customer with gt30 and 44mm ext gate and it sounded terrible on 34psi

Would be good to see a 20v head on the ael. Would valve etc be ok? Not got a 20v head anyway.......
I have been in touch with shadowmaker on tdi forum. Very helpful but I don't know enough about diesel tuning to benefit. If I uses the above setup I don't need to make a wiring harness for a different ecu I would need for vnt control.

Just search for the VW 'paris dakar' racing Touraeg, I know it might not be the AEL but thats a 2.5 5 cylinder TDI

the best 5 banger to observe is the old 24hr Golf/Bora tdi`s 600nm if i remember right

its like audi 10v quattro, on petrol.... but not bad sound, and not too loud

no, the turbo will destroy the bad sounds, and it will be a deep 10v petrol sound; not to bad for the neigbours or " the uncle blue"

and the car goes like a burned cat, the turbo pressure comes very early, and will have really high rpm in a moment; low backpressure = more Nm and HP...spec on diesels...
