  • custom intake pipework?

hey guys,... i know its a diesel, but just wondering about replacing my rubber boost hoses on my 5 cylinder AEL with metal pipes and silicone joins?

I see a few of the 20vt cars have custom welded pipes, would something like this be possible on my A6 AEL ? Did you get someone to build these pipes for you? or did you do them yourself?

    cheers.

Custom exhaust place should be able replicate the pipes. Just make sure there's enough movement between fixed and moving parts i.e. engine and intercooler.

Best bet is to look under the bonnet and get someone to rev the engine, that should give a good idea of engine movement
