Exhaust question/advice needed

In order to meet the noise limit for ADI of 100dB, I was wondering whether I could just get away with re-installing a single cat on a 3B?

Would there be any inherent advantages or disadvantages in doing one rather than both. Given the downpipe splits into two to feed the 2 pipes/cats I'm not sure it would affect it but keen to hear from those much better informed

Mr Newsh is probably the best man to ask. Depends how many dB you need to lose. What is it at currently?
