Yes. Result of just a head breather was a damaged crank and bearings. Too much oil ended up in the head and breather system. Hence why I have moved to just a block breather system.
The head on our cars has too much oil sitting around
One way to try to get the oil back into the sump is to drill a hole in the back of the head and run a line back to the sump(below oil level). Oil will be pushed back under accelration so an opening at the back would help oil drainage.
des is this directly below the breather?
And wouldnt it be jsut as possible to put a point in the front of the sump?
Or have you created it in an "L" for a reason?

I don't think the L shape is important. It just makes the point of connection end up in a place that has room arround it. Yep this is close to directly below the breather.

Well if it works completely for you then i guess that may solve my problem.
Im going to install a baffle and a second crank breather towards the front of the sump similar to des.
That way i can still keep the head breather blocked off. Dont want too much more oil up there as des has stated.

I dont know about momento But i did change my setup a bit
im running 2 an 12 on the head one behind the filler cap and one welded on the rearof the head
they both go Down to my swirl pot that sits on top og my crankcase vent
the swirl pot Then vent’s to air
still Got the sump plate in
i have 0 issiues running a setup like this. Havent even had problem with noicy tappets. That would come from fast cornering and hard acc. Oil build Up i quess
Mine works like a charm!!
Almost 700whp and 37psi with almost no oil going to my first catch can and absolutely zero oil residue going to my secondary catch can.
(I run 2 because for motorsport racing requirements here in Sydney you need to have more oil catch capacity than the engine capacity)

Drain back should be under the oil level so you have it right.

Have you got any pictures of this set up?
I want to put an AN fitting at the front of my cam cover but with the stroker engine space it tight to the bonnet.
