Oh oh - Problem with RS2 Recaros

Owing to the fact that i have a fat **** i have, whilst installing some lovely mb quart speakers , managed to break something within the seat that holds the right hand side of the right hand seat tight .

There is a separate panel(has the electric controls on it) which you can adjustment to 'hold you in', but this now wobbles loose. Ideally i would like to fix this in a position so that it doens't move ever again (not good for cornering)!

Is the inside of this part of the seat something that anyone has experience/ schematic of, any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers
    Rich

Same thing happened to me, for similar reasons

In my case the bit of the metal frame that supports the side bolster had broken off the main seat framework directly under the seat control switches. It was fairly straight forward to expose the area where the break was (i worked out how to do it on my own, although I now can't remember how although I did take the seat out and i think zips where involvled) anyway if it is the same as mine it needs to be welded to back to the main seat frame (I didn't get around to doing it).

After time with the side bolster being a bit floppy the soldered connections to the swithes can start to come loose and eventually stop working.
