    Some lil nice interior updates...

    Hello,

I made the A8/S8 4D switches in my car, thats has a newer touch, the symbol at the switches are in a newer style like the switches self, the right switch outside is still the old, to show the differences. the 2nd switch of the right side is of an A8 Taxi (yellow cab), that switch is for the interior lights to make those on and off, so I made this function at my car of course, my floor area lights of the new A8 is going on/off too.

here installed I the leather handbrake cover of the last 80 cabrio models (had only the cabrio), the knop is here now in chrome, is not easy to install but this looks good, I think...

I have a cabrio, so this switch is for the electric windows, to make then up and down, all 4 at the same time.

I have of course the switches in the door panel too:

I was simple in my eyes, just change, but some dont work so you have to change only the cover to the newer look, I bought more the half new, because its impossible to find used A4/A8 switches. by the way the switches of the A8 4D (till 1998) are the same like the A4 8D (till 1998), so I spend for that more then 120 euro, but the result is awesome.

of Audi new, you need 3 parts, when you dont want the chrome knop so you need only two. used can you forget it, because you can not get the cover of, without to destroy it. the leather handbrake had only the the last Audi 80 cabrio facelift from 02.1999 till 2000. in the states the cabrio was build only to 1998.

new isnt that cheap: 90 euro for the two cover and 150 euro for all three.

Hi Christian... I've seen the updates to the cabrio many times on cardomain. I like everything you have done to your cabby to make it look like an rs2.

Would you mind posting the part numbers for the cabrio leather handbrake and chrome knob?
                  Cheers mis amigos,

                    That would be:

                    large part: 8G0 711 463 and color code 05A
                    handle: 8G0 711 327 and color code 05A

Maybe rs2cabrio just could verify these. The handle was not so obvius in akte, but the color code indicates leather.

I'd still love to know the part numbers to the interior handle lights and footwell lights Christian showed in another thread. Can't for the life of me find the interior handle lights from the A8/S8 listed in the FA anywhere.
