i think its just a guide to quickly indicate you are doing 30 which is where i would say most of the speed cameras are placed, thats what i thought anyway, lots of new cars have them

I see. Over here in the states (at least where I've been) the speed limits tend to be "on the 5th's," such as 25, 35, 45, 55 and 65. It's more rare for there to be one at 30 or 50, altho' they do exist.

By the way, since I didn't mention, those gauges and the install in general look great!

Hi,

Not quite sure what you mean? If you are asking how to remove to cover to the switch blocks then you need to undo the two screws that hold it down, these are under the steering wheel column, there is two wholes and you'll need a fairly long cross-head screwdriver.

Type 44 Audi 100 / 200 faces are different to type B3 / B4 items.

They are smaller for starters, and there is a hole for the trip reset button at the bottom...

Bo, I'm actually glad the first supplier didn't deliver the goods, as the "slightly modified" version has the font truer to the original Audi one! Wasn't too keen on the italicised font.

Are there any more left? If so, could you please put me down for a set? Aux and main cluster please.

Hi Delta, Yeah no problem.

Ill put you down for a set.

Wrote the first part of the guide last night..... That was a mission and a half and took longer than actually fitting the dam things... .

Anyway, will finish the AUX guide tonight.

Mine are all fitted now and they look lovely.

didn't want to do the clock as it looks quite nice in orange under the orange needle.


As for the fan controls, just removed the red plastic insert - then replaced the 3 bulbs with leds and fitted leds in the actual knobs.
