Strange mesage on board comp

hi
frend of mine has some strange problems wih his 3b s2. he gets message 51 on board comp anytime he turn the car on......has anyone any idea what it should be? i havent seen anything like that before!

Holding in the Autocheck button, and then switching on the ignition displays the following messages:

41 (4 cylinder cars)
51 (5 cylinder cars)
61 (6 cylinder cars)

Your friend's car displaying this message without the Autocheck button pressed during switch on suggests there is a fault - probably the button contacts are permanently in the closed position.
