airconditioner electronic regulation removal

Hey all,

I am busy replacing my 3b wireloom with one from a rs2, I got the dash out and I am now looking at the airconditioner which sits just behind the dash. Can this one be taken out in one piece or do you have to get it out piece for piece. I have an etka drawing which will make clear what I mean, I hope some of you guys can help me out with this.

If you disconnect the refridgerant pipes at the engine bay side you may take it out as a whole.

Where are these pipes located?, are these the ones which go in the car in the middle just behind the IM. I found two pipes which go in the car the other sides run to the engine I believe(?)

Near the downpipe.

Can you just take these pipes off? or do you have to drain a fluid first, coolant?

take off pipes and take it out whole..

there will be some amount of fluid, you must take off the hoses going thru the engine wall..
