s2 avant steering wheel

hi there, im new!

and looking for an s2.

theres a decent looking one in ming blue on autotrader but it looks like its got the wrong(?) steeringwheel.....a normal audi airbag wheel rather than either of the "s" type wheels.

am i panicking over nothing or this mildly suspicious?

Don't panic there were a few which didn't get a nice S2 / RS2 air bag steering wheel

Buy it and swap the steering wheel with one from audi a4 95 96 97 it looks th esame except in the the s logo dont have s2 , and also u can use the newer 3 spoke steering wheel but have to change few bits if u need help about swaping it to the newer one just ask me i already did it few months ago and it went allright

so its not an indication that the old one was binned after an airbag going off?

AFAIK, mine's never been in an accident and the steering wheel leather does show that it's 13 years old. I would be very wary of a non-leather steering wheel on an S2 as they all got leather steering wheels, may they be 3 or 4 spoke...
