Carbon trim clips

Hey FA fans,

I have aquired Varbon trim, but having witnessed first hand just what a pig it was to remove them from the door cards, I suspect that I will need new clips.

Can anyone please confirm that these horrible little clips that attach to the legs of the 4 side piece or carbon/wood trim are T00 853 582 and the clips for the dash trim are N 904 199 01?

Si, You got the dash clamp number right, the side clamps are N 012 854 3.

If I've got the right parts from your description of the FA, the clamp (10 off - for each door) are 4A0 853 107A (for an Avant) and N01 285 43 for a coupe

and the Dash are 'Clamping washer' N90 419 901 (6 off for each dashboard)

the first number you posted starting with a T is superceeded to

2TA 853 582 and are 52p each

Altho this is the correct part number for the side trims

THe dashboard items are just small nuts you can get from B&Q to make it easier

My part number is from the following info

ACOQ, 94, 8, 67, 867-00, item 17

Mine is from AC0Q 96/8/67/867-00/17. Weird. Maybe there a diffence in clamping washers between car with/out airbags as the trim pieces differ too? Just a guess?

Just checked mine on the info you put and i still get my part number.

Yep, my FA shows N01 285 43 for that part -

Obviously I've got the 'vintage' copy

Doubtless it's earlier than yours Ant. 6.02.1 update 429. I've had it for ages. That probably explains the differences.
