Greg, looking from the picture front part (horizontal sliding mechanism), looks the same as the Audi one to me. Might be a straight fit.
If you have a friend with a Golf you might check this out a little better.
Audi seats only have the front guide bolted (and from the picture those Recaros look that way). Seat back side runners just slip back and forth in car's gides. If distance between the two back runners is the same I would guess they will be OK.
then you'll need to "customize" electrical connections...
I don't know how much they are worth but I wouldn't be too much surprised if they would come more than 1000 euros each new.
I know S2seats won't fit in a MK2 Golf - my bro tried that - the runeers looked the same but the distance apart was different - MK4 are bigger though and could be close to fit - if not - it might only mean cutting and welding a couple of the arms underneath.
Completely different to S3 seats! The S3, TT, Mk4 Golf, Bora, Current Seat all use completely different subframes. They no longer have the central runner as the S2 / Mk2 Golf. I have an S3 interior in black leather, but they will have to be chopped and have type 89 subframes welded onto them.
sid - there were some black leather S3 recaros on e-bay last night....
buy it now @ £999 (full set f/r)
greg - no, S2s have 2 side runners at the back and one central runner at the front - looks similar to the ones you are showing. Only question is as to whether the runners use the same spacing.
