Agre about the newer recaros - I may snif around a late 1980/early 1990's Porsche set in Leather to maybe get some kind of complimetary look!....

Never tried sniffing leathery things from the 1980's.

But it may work......

Don't bother with the Recaro UK site.
Although it says that only two seats are available is not correct.
You can check this with the German site www.recaro.de look for the subframes. You will see that all of the seats are available allthough some functions are lost like height ajustments.

Attention, important information

* For people with small stature it is recommended to use the spacer brackets.
* Installations of RECARO adapter kits that involve seat belt pre-tensioner units or side airbags have to be performed by authorized RECARO dealers only.
* To remove the OEM seat special tools may be necessary like e. g. a torx wrench.
* If a vehicle had an obvious facelift and it is not mentioned on the adapter kit list please contact RECARO.



I ordered the Recaro Sport without beltguide that are very similar to the 996 sport seats option. They should arrive any moment.

Is that seat electric? Heated?

Not electric and not heated.

The first one would have been nice but is a lot of money to pay just for the tilt movement as the rest wont work.
Heated in Spain Why bother

It was 700 Euros each.

On Recaro-Direct they are 680 pounds with leather. Best price I could find but they don't deliver to Spain.

Lucky for me dealer on Spain lost contact with Recaro Germany so they are selling away the stock.

Price used to be 1250 Euros each so I am lucky

Heated Seats?

My Mother went to spain as a language student in 1948 and said that Spain had a saying which went something like:
Madrid 3 months of winter and 9 months of Inferno.

In cold and damp countries like England, heated seats are wonderful.
