What colour mats should I have?

Hi,

I have a 1994 ABY S2 Avant with cream leather interior. The carpets are also cream but I was wondering what colour the original floor mats would have been as I'm ineterested in getting some to replace the worn out black ones that are in there at present.

Where can I get some that will have the holes so that they locate properly on the carpet lugs?

would these mats be like a cream colour also ( same as your carpet) mine were when i brought my car.. best mats ive found yet though would be the black rubber ones last for ages and my carpet etc is cream and they look right.. ( would imagine it would have been an option to have them anyway)

Both my previous Audis (an 80 and a 2.8 coupe) were bought new from a local Stealer and they were both offered with black rubber mats with the Audi rings logo on. Not seen cloth mats for these cars at a steeler, so always assumed that they were aftermarket jobs.

My 96 Coupe came with original mats from Audi which were a sort of grey cloth, had a black plastic audi badge on them (very very similar to the black plastic dash badge that used to be on the Audi 90) and had plastic ring type clips that snapped over the studs on the floor. Carpet is cream. Unfortunately they expired a while ago.

You won't find any at sealerships anymore, long gone obsolete now.
Only hope is one of those ebay sellers that snaps up old dealer stock may find some and sell at auction.
Alternatively you could possibly get some made to match the OEM version.

I have cream leather in my avant also, and it has what look like genuine audi mats which are like black cloth mats.

would be interested to see if your leather seats are same style as mine as all the leather i've seen in others appears to be a different style
