    Coupe inner sill trim

Can anyone post a picture of the inner sill trim that sits behind the seat belt rail?
I need to see how the rail is positioned in relation to this trim. I have attached an image of the area I need a photo of (area inside ellipse).

The reason I ask is that I can't make up my mind if I have refitted the rail properly.
Although I would have thought there is only one way to do this. Just looks a little "odd".

    Thanks.

Sorry, I wish I did have a pic available. I'll try to put into words what I can see, and you can tell me if my desription sounds correct.

Okay, each rail runs parallel to the sill from the front of the car and then the rails angle towards the centre of the car under the rear bench, as per the above diagram.

The sill trim is fitted correctly as far as I can tell, it's the part where the rail angles inward that looks odd to me in that it isn't concealed as much as I'd expect, the circled part in the diagram below sits over the rail as expected.

In short, is most of the angled part of the rail not covered by the sill trim? Mine current sits on top of the carpet and the rail part number can be easily read at each side.

Providing a picture would have been so much easier. Ho hum.

@Steve, where did you borrow a vintage pair Sophia Loren's sunglasses for Billing from ?

Hmm, perhaps I haven't worded my question clearly enough?

I'm not in the habit of asking too many questions as I can normally find most of the answers myself.

If I couldn't be bothered searching the forum or Googling for an answer to a question that has been asked many times a informative reply would have been offered up almost right away.

This is the last time I'll ask here. Do I sound vexed? Maybe I am.

Perfect! Thanks very much Jas. I really appreciate you taking the pics for me.

It looks like I've got the angled part of the rail positioned over the carpet instead of under it. It seems so obvious now that I see yours.

I think this has happened as I have cut the hole for the rail in the new carpet directly where the the rail enters below the bench.

Strange, I was sure the rail sat over the old carpet because of the marks it had left.
Changing a carpet is not a particularly easy DIY, getting the carpet under the dash is a pig. I had the same colour as yours Jas, mine was pretty worn and I replaced it with a black one.

I'll go have another look and see if I can sort it.
