Speedo Illumination

I have just fitted my PLasma gauages that I bought from BO they work great. However part of the reason for fitting them now was to replace the blow bulbs behind the speedo.

However I have tested all the Bulbs and all are working, ther was one for the high rpm end of the rev counter that I new had stopped working ( not really needed with the plasma clock faces. The trouble on the speedo side is that all the speedo and fuel gauge illimination stopped at the same time so I think maybe a feed to the bulbs has gone I cannot see the hands very well but at least I can see my speedo now with the plasma gauges.


Has anyone got any idears whats wrong? Also has anyone got a wiring diagram for the feed to the clocks so I can test the unit on the bench again.

Just a though. have you tried turning the very left knob on the instrument cluster clockwise. this adjusts the brightness of the bulbs in the cluster. if its turn all the way anticlockwise you won't be able to see the illumination from the bulbs..

I have discovered that, it is just the right side of the instrument panel speedo and fuel gauge to not light up the rev counter and temp gauge are fine. When I was fitting the plasma gauge faces I checked every bulb and they all worked, checked there position on the back of the clocks to make sure that was correct. It is if no power is going to those lights in that area I will have to remove the clocks and find out the pin for the illumination and test them on the bench again.
