Water leak

found a water leak on my coupe

driver footwell was soakin had a look around coulnt c ne thing
the next time it rained i noticed a wet patch on driver side of headling by corner of headlining

pulled headlining down and is drippin in where a pipe for the cable is rusted

the water is filling headlining and then running down a pillar trim down back of dash and filling foot well

i hate water leaks at least i have a vax 2 suck the water out

search the forum, you will find great posts about this leak written by stick insect. i had this leak too and i fix this problem two weeks ago.

Good possibilty is the little grommet where the bonnet release cable goes through the bulkhead right in the corner by the fuse box. I check this out first as I had this problem when I bought the S2 and the grommet had fallen to bits - they perish over time and it leaves a drain hole about the size of a 10p peice. Cost a couple of quid from the stealers to replace. Ive no access to the "family album" here but sure someone will be able to help there!

you got some pics of this still leaking , and check the sunroof drain ?
