Help wanted fitting Recaros to my S2

I plan to fit my ex Ford Sapphire Cosworth Recaro's to my S2 Avant and have a few questions before I am forced to get the welder out.

I contacted a Recaro distributor who told me that A80 subframes were still available but who was unable to tell me if these would fit directly to my seats without any modding.

The Sapphire Recaro's have 8 mounting holes through the base that are fitted with captive nuts.

Has anybody else fitted these type of Recaro seats to their S2's?

Don't really want to go to the expense of ordering the subframes only to find that they don't bolt up and require modding.

Also would be helpful to know if the Reacro Subframes have the in built height adjustment like the standard fit audis.

Mark the recaro in mine had two runners that screw to the bottom of the seat with four allen bolts then that bolts onto the subframe with four more bolts

German ebay is a good place for Recaro subframes i got 2 for less than 100 quid
to fit to my evo Recaros .These were for a coupe not an AVANT .The subframes
only slide front\back not up\down.
