Help! - Driver’s door won’t unlock

When I try to open my driver’s door from the inside the the central locking activates and locks all the doors. The drivers door will not open from the outside when unlocked but the central locking does not activate. Based on a brief bit of research I’m leaning towards a fault with the electric lock actuator. Am I on the right track? TIA. Car is an rs2.

It may not be related, but when I took my door cards off recently to change the rubbers I fitted the cable not the interior door handles slightly out of position which stopped the locking functioning properly. It may be worth checking this out first,

Thanks, I took it to my mechanic yesterday and he sorted it. The end of a spring had broken off inside the lock but he’s not sure if that was causing the problem. He said he replaced a few Audi 80 locks when working for an Audi dealer in the UK. All good for now though.
