Recently got hold of fully electric D2 A8 leather Recaros that I could fit in my 2nd B4 80. Main issue is that these seats has their own rails bolted to the floor. I've seen bunch of pictures on the internet with these seats fitted in B4, but has anyone done it on here? I'm looking for ideas or solutions on how to attach them to the floor with possibility to throw standard seats in for MOT just in case. I know I must cut the front bracket off, but what to do at the back? Eventually I will figure it out myself as I have a scrap saloon shell I can use for test fits, but I thought I'd ask here, maybe someone has a ready solution or can point out to other forums where someone has done this.
