hi there does anybody know where I can get new headlining for a 1991 s2

Is it structurally broken or is the usual fabric headlining material peeling away from the fibre backing? It is common for the foam that backs the fabric to break down over time and fall to bits (results in sagging) and pretty much any second hand lining is likely to be the same or on its way. Take it out, remove fabric, dissolve the crumbling foam / glue mess and reupholster. It is a messy job but if you do the remove and refit labour, I'm sure a vehicle retrimmer would take on the job.

Kit has one for sale on this forum, might be worth seeing if it still available? I retrimmed mine a while ago and it looks alright. I couldnt get an exact match for my grey fabric but it is close and has a 2mm foam back so it behaves and feels like the original stuff. If you tackle it - get high temperature spray adhesive and a spare pair of hands, it is quite tricky handling the big piece and getting it in the right position without getting it stuck in the wrong place.
