My accelerator peddle has a bolt straight through the middle of it and it sits proud of the peddle face
Just wondering if any one else has encountered such bolt?
Its hardly OEM and is really starting to cheese me off
Does not sound OEM to me! A new pedal is £20 odd from Vagparts. A fitting guide is on here somehwhere...
Cheers,
Steve.

Commom thing, the pedal "pad" itself snaps off from the arm. As the pedal "pad" can't be replaced on it's own, people use various methods to reattach it to the arm.
Only way to get rid of it, is to buy a complete new pedal pad and arm.
They aren't that expensive and are easy enough to fit, if you don't mind lying on your back in the footwell, with your legs in the air.
Vagparts sell them at £33 +vat (current price on their site), dealers quoted me £55 a couple of years ago, Maybe Ben (s2avant) would be able to help?
