Opening Rear Windows

Myself and one of my friends are looking to 3d print the small raised up section for the parcel shelf supports to replace some missing ones from a set I bought.

Does anyone have some picture and even better would be dimensions for them? It would be good to get as much information as possible for a cad file that could be on here incase anyone else requires them.

Alright David I have two sets of rear opening windows in the lock up. I could pop and have a look see what size things are. If this would help.

sorry I've only just seen the replies. 4wdrifter, yes its that bit.

I don't have the covers to scan, the seller didn't have them with the window set

I might be able to take an impression in polyvinyl silicone of mine and then get a plaster of paris model made of it which I may be able to get scanned. I’ll try and see what comes of it.

That sounds very interesting. Its just a shame they are so fragile, i've heard of a few people over the years that have needed them.

They use the standard rear trims, but have a square cut out, the cover is then glued over the top. It's the square piece cut out that makes them fragile. Easy enough to make from a standard trim, if you can get a cover piece to copy...

Yes if I can get the cover piece dimensions/etc I will get them 3d printed by my friend in Flitwick. He has already offered to copy other bits that are getting hard to get like the bumper grills

Wow not seen that done before! I will send the pictures to my friend and see what he says about it but I'm sure he will have no problems giving that a go!
