RS2 How To Remove Headlining (Help Needed)

My RS2 is in at a timmer to get the headlining fixed and fitted correct and just had a call from him saying that he has got all the pillar sections off (all in one peice) he has removed two clips at the rear but it appears the actual headlining seems to be bonded to the roof. Personally i dont think it has been bonded as Im sure this is the first time it has been done.

Has he missed something that maybe holding it up there?

Any experts out there have any magic answers so i can get back to him to let him know, maybe there are more clips to remove?

No, it is bonded on a rectangular panel in the centre. There is a thread here on how to get it down or check my rebuild thread. I used a long piece of upvc filed with a chisel point on one end. You push it under the liner from the back and slowly work forward.

Once again Tractor Dave came to the rescue, headlining all done and back in the car. Just a couple of small jobs to sort and the RS2 will be on the market.
