  • Avant Headliner

After around 8yrs of lay up I've discovered the headlining has sagged.
Reading through simlar issue to what i have regarding sagging headliner, has anyone tride to restick by any means?
or is replacing the only option.
Feel this is going to be a bit of a challenge!

If you’re serious about a longer term repair you’ve got to remove the decaying orange foam material as nothing will bond to that and hold up the headliner without ruining the material with glue soak through.

Removing the headliner from the car completely is the best option, stripping the material and orange foam. After that you can either re line yourself or get a local trimmer to do their magic.

Some great write-ups and how to's on this subject though. Looks like I'll be doing this job in summer when the glue has softened but for now where's my box of drawing pins
