Some of the black leather in my coupe is worn with a small hole. I had a retrimmer look who suggested replacing the worn panels. He freely admitted that the match wouldn't be great. Even the new napa leather he had wouldn't be a great match.
So I'm now looking at trying a leather repair kit to see how this turns out.
But it made me wonder if there was anywhere where original quality leather could be bought from? Similar thickness, texture and colour of course.
Or if using newer leather and then using dye to bring it as close to OEM would work.
Is there anyone with any experience of buying matching leather? OEM fabric is available from Tradition but there seems to be a bit of a gap on the leather front!
