electrically adjustable seats, information for budget build

    Hello friends,
A while since Ive been here.
I'm on a little mission of getting electrically adjustable seats in my B3 on budget build (So I'm trying to avoid expensive shipping from abroad, instead opting to gather seats peace by peace). So far Ive gotten 2 drivers seats from cars that had single EA seat and one wiring loom for seat with memory. However It seems like both seats that I have don't have ''seat memory'' function. I was wondering, is it possible to get memory hardware from a different seat and put it in this seat?

So far from what I gathered from one member that had these is that motors are virtually the same, only thing that comes as extra is a metal plate and some wires that go to memory seat switch

    Can someone verify this?

I know this is not for sale board, but is someone has seat meant for spare parts, there are couple of plastic peaces that I'm missing and plugs and wires for wiring loom that plug in the seats themselves aswell as memory block. Any help would be appreciated. I had theory that maybe c3 seat memory box could be used as those are a bit more common here, but i'm not sure if it's direct match.

Ok, maybe this info will be usefull to somebody else someday. I looked over both ETKA pictures and ive gotten some images of layout from others who have seats.
Both C3 and C4 seats do not match directly to B3/B4 EA seats. HOWEVER there are lot of similarities.
C3 seats share the same exact control module (At least PN wise 443907381, I'm not sure if there isn't some secret thing inside). Bosch switches 443959773 on motors for memory purposes are also the same. Same with user interface switches. What is different is the motor mounting for forwards/backwards adjustment and general wire management. C3 comes with additional connectors and in general unnecessarily more complicated wire layout that they later optimized in newer chassis. B3/B4 is simpler in that regard.
C4 seats share many of the same motors and switches, but control module and mechanics are vastly different. Control box 4A0907381, while looks the same, comes with additional connector, not sure if it's lumbar support or front foot cushion adjustment. Same or similar system goes in A8 seats aswell. Basically, too different for use in b3.
If worst comes to worst I plan to modify c3 electrics to regular b4 seat. I'm still in lookout for seats themselves as Id much rather leave c3 seat parts as spares and have original seats..
