avant interior?

is there any reason why 80/s2 avant boot side trims wouldnt fit in the boot of the saloon version? the reason im wondering this is because im wanting to convert my b4 80 saloon to s2 spec and i want to relocate the batery to the boot. i want the clean look of the avant boot with the batery behind the trim. but im not 100% shure if the trim would fit. from what i can see thay are very similar?

you would have to cut the top, and i think the hole for the rear seat locking is in a different position (avant seats lower). everything else should fit.

im i corect in thinking that the coupe batery is under the rear seats?
i dont suppose anybody would have any pictures of a s2 saloon/sedan/limo boot or interior?
if anybody has any ideas dont be afraid to spread your wisdom?!

i have both the sides of the avant on a shelf in my cellar, awaiting for me to do some mods. I can make pics.

I plan to remove the carpet, and put on some diamond plate on both sides, on the floor, on the back of the seats and on the boot panel.

i think i would have to just get my hands on a side trim and see if it will fit
