What a fun day

Hi guys,

Benn having a bit of fun today, wiring in the amp, 7 speaker system and also cleaning everything I could get my hands on.
Also stripped the IM off to get that fixed tomorow......
Just got to fix the lecy lights ( dash plasma's), fit the new plasma style Boost guage and put the carpet and other bits back in... Then the car is nearly finished...

Oh yes had all the door cards off today to fit the black strips (yeah no more wood) just got to get my hands on a dash bit of the same type (black faux leather) to finish the whole lot off. feeling good, will be even better when it is running properly (i.e. got rid of the idle problem.....

Hint.....
You can get any colour you like, and spray it black just with a can of black spray.... sounds like rubbish, but works really well, trust me... that is, if you can't get a black one easily.....

Before and after pics

Hi guys,

Managed to remember to take some before and after pics of the door cards this morning. Just got this one to do now and the dash bit when I can get one (SAL???)

What do you think... Big improvement yes????

Just finished cleaning the carpet before putting it back in.... Huge job but maguires APC is amazing stuff, must get my hands on a tub of it (borrowed some for the task from a friend of mine )

Right then after a mad rush. Stereo all done, front 2 way, center (in rear door cards) and 3 ways on the parcel shelf also a 10" sub in the boot (yet to make the case for the spare whel well. Next on the list....

All seats and carpets have been shampoo'd and the roof lining has had a clean up (need to do it again as it is still a bit messy). All interior is now complete.
Good news for me indeed....

What is even better is the engine is back together too, bled etc and fully operational again. All plasma's now wired in so I have light, and the new boost guage looks great in the dark too.

All good then.

Now sitting here having a good beer.....

Now that is such a huge improvement, I don't like wood interiors on any car , black or carbon is the way..... really looks good....
Cheers for the bumper comment, I think I would be beter selling instructions for doing it than doing the job, was a bit of a nightmare... (no power tools, compressor which only works on 6.5 BAR, 1 piece of wet and dry paper for the whole job.... you get the picture.....)
Still, as you say, once I've saved up the pennies for a new intercooler will fit in with no problem...!
