original RS2 blue "alcantara"

Hello,

I was looking for the original RS2 blue alcantara, because this alcantara isnt available anymore nowhere!, I was writing mails with Recaro audi, quattro GmbH and Porsche, but without any results, so after a while I was asking my local audi dealer and after a long time he found the saddler which was produced the RS2 blue alcantara. so I bought 6m² and after three weeks I have become the blue alcantara.

thats the same color it is matching 98% perfect, the new is looking a bit darker, but this is new, it was only made for me fresh! look right here:







so now I can start my project, to recover my rear bank, it was complete leather before:

now my RS2 front seats are waiting for the recover.





so if anyone interested in the original blue RS2 alcantara, let me now over an PM! but one m² isnt cheap it cost 90 euro per m²! but this is the same color and its original alcantara of Italy!

my saddler needed 1,3x1,0m² for the rear bank, I bought only 6m² for the future, I dont know if I can order in the future this alcantara again, so in around 10 years

I cannt translate alcantara from german to english, so is the word alcantara in english the same word as it is in german? I tried it with google translator or with my translation book but I havent found anything. thx

There is no translation of Alcantara because it is a proper noun.....like Audi, Bosch, Torsen, etc.

thx for the translation thing so this is a town in spain -> I will look at google maps...

...no 3m² are to less because in the rear is the size smaller for the front seats you will need more. so for the whole recover I think 4m², but you can ask your saddler in your town.

Alcantara is the brand.

I've also sourced the right alcantara colour. It's called "Blue Fantana". It's slightly off colour, but hey the RS2 blue alcantara is already 12 years in my car.
