Changing Interior Wood trim to Carbon Fibre?

Been looking at few S2 Avants and they have the "wood" style interior trim.

Would like to know if this can be changed to the "carbon" style trim and is it still available?

    Thanks in advance

Its definitely possible - bit fiddly. Others have BTDT b4 you... Biggest problem is getting the carbon bits on eBay as they can fetch a tidy sum occasionally.

      Hi there,

Yes, you can change the trimming from wood to carbon no problem.

....the problem is that finding someone selling genuine Audi carbon trim for an Avant at a reasonable price is a helluva lot more difficult

Search eBay, Audi forums and such and wish for a lotta luck. I remember that Aron (aronmatic) had "copies" made not so long ago, maybe drop him a PM

      HTH,

      David

Was 'wood' or 'carbon' the only option on the S2?

Quite like a 'brushed aluminium' finish?

Don't forget the punched leather trim that 3Bs have. At least the S2 didn't get Zebrano.

The early cheapo wood veneer (think school desk!) style ones are made out of ally with a plastic coating on..... i'm sure you could strip them back and have them brushed
