Dash trim trivia

This is really bugging me, i have two carbon trims for the dash, a LHD and a RHD version.

Odd thing is the RHD version is about an inch longer. It fits the car but does anybody know why they are different sizes?

I assumed the dash was a mirror image

i think there might be twin air vents by the doors in the LHD cars - for some reason we only got one?
.. could be wrong though...

Yes I have twin air vents, could be the difference, sweaty types!

makes far more sense to have two at each side, don't understand why we only got one

There are 2 in uk cars too, unless you are on about something different to me!?

LHD have two vents on both sides, RHD has one vent on the drivers side

Still doesn’t explain the dash trim difference

The vents must be a different size or design, as the centre section must be the same as on RHD cars, bang in the middle of the car
