Water leaks - Headlining removal

Yeah another vote for the aerial base leaking.....mine soaked the lining and rear bench

FYI - These are the clips holding the lining to the sunroof surround, all the clips had come off the roof lining on removal. I had to prise them off the plastic trim and re-attach to the lining, four metal tabs on each corner hold them in place.

I'm trying to get the clips that holds the other end of the sunvisor in place, any tips as I'm not having too much luck at the mo... are they the same as the sunvisors themselves?

From memory they are the same, prise the outer cover off to get at the two screws.

Yup be gentle as they are fragile, they just push on over the top of the base and hide the screws.

Right. Not had much luck with the clip side, the visor side came off OK tho, just wanted to check that both used the same fixing method before I gave it another go.

Got those done, just took some guts and screw drivers...

How does the sunroof surround come off? I've got the large sticky pad unstuck.

Should just ping out, or at least did when I last removed one, comes out in one piece held in by clips on it.

Does it come out before or with the head lining? Cheers

Have a look at the pic in post #17, the outer edge is the part that grips onto the plastic sunroof surround. Another job you just need a bit of guts to wedge a screwdriver in and prise them apart.

On mine the metal clips came off the headlining so i had to prise them all off the surround and put them back onto the head lining. There only held on by the four metal tabs on each corner.

Seems a shame to put the grey lining back up there doesn't it Those black linings looks so much better.
