    Wet floor !!

When i first got my Coupe the floor was soaking, and im not talking just being damp....it was a good 2 inches of water lying there front and rear !!! The previous owner said he had left a window down for a while and this was how it got so wet! I think for it to have got this wet it must have had both doors left wide open and not just a window left down !!!! Have taken every thing he told me about the car with a pinch of salt so to speak as it was obvious he was keen for a sale and would have told me anything !!!

Are there any usual places that water comes in on these models ?? I did initially think that it might have been coming in through the sunroof seal but after washing the car today i didnt see any water coming in around this area !!

windscreen replacement is the usual suspect fighting with this problem mesel just now. water gets behind the door seals and finds its way into the foot wells.
    check this oot

also check the bonnet cable, where theres a gromit that perishes and lets water in on the drivers side

Mine could actually be doing with a new screen as its blown and white at both sides so might have to look at getting a new one fitted.

Will have to get it all dried out and investigate further and see if i can see for sure where its coming in !

its easy, just unscrew the catch under the dash first then pull cable through, hardest part is fitting new one as you have to make sure you get the length just right.
I would suggest removing the grill cos you'll probably get the allignment wrong 1st time as its trial and error.
Removing the grill gives you access to the bonnet catches so you can release bonnet.

SUnroof seal. Mine had a 5mm split in it, some black silicon sorted that though.
