porsche 996 seats in S2 3B

Is there any experience on the S2forum with porsche seats in S2's? Has anybody done such things. I have a realy nice set in mind. see attached.
There from a 996.

Jeffer, I was looking at some in a Porsche breakers and I will be going back to look again. It would require a fair bit of fabrication and the like but it could be well worth it!

they are ergonomic a lot more side support than the Audi seats.

I take it looking at the porsche seats they have runners down each side of the seat? It would be nice if we could see the bottom of the seat to have a look at the runners, so we could start to get some ideas of modifying a base?

There is a Recaro Porsche seat which would probably use a standard recaro Coupe mount.

Are they electric? If so thats another story of mating up the wires..

You could either make custom adapter harnesses or splice. Who knows thought they might just plug in.

If I wanted to do it, I probably source a used power seat harness and make sure I could adapt the seats to the harness. That way you don't fu$K up your cars wiring or the recaros.

Hi Josh,

Some of the seats are electric. All they require is a live feed and an earth .
