I bought 10 LED bulbs last week as a couple of my dash bulbs had gone.. fitted them this week and they're total bobbins. Gone back to standard Audi bulbs.
On a side note.. my Air Bag warning bulb appears to have been wired in seperately and glued in, made getting the dashboard out "interesting" to say the least.

so what exactly was up with the old bulbs? bad light or mis-aimed? or just didn't work all together?
One thing that has been mentioned with led one's in the main cluster is the slightest movement of the dimmer switch will mean they won't illuminate at all.
A couple of the old bulbs had failed so I pulled a load out of another cluster I have lying around and tested them all.. put the working ones back in and also did the ambient temp display bulb while I was at it.. car feels more "special" again now, if you know what I mean!
