Nope, 29.1 MPG is definately an error. Check that your right foot is able to push the right hand pedal all the way to the carpet.....and then about another centimetre further :mischeif:

        As for the lights: -
Battery lamp - should be on until the engine starts
Handbrake lamp - should be on until the handbrake is released
Airbag lamp - should go out after ignition on for 10 seconds
ABS light - normally only lights up for 3 seconds (until system check complete). Must go out when engine starts

What is the light in the bottom left? My S2 has a CAT light in that position.

        Cheers n

Jesus!! yeah nice one fellas thanks for those comments...... christ knows how 29.1 got there, i think I have been driving like a christian recently.....must stop that and drive it like I did when I first got it!

.... So I'll presume that the lights are normal then....

All those lights are normal enough - Si's explanation was good and that is indeed the IMMO lamp in bottom left.

29mpg is pretty impressive - was that downhill with the engine off

Thanks, i guess I thought all the squares should have lit up on initial check for some reason.

No idea how i got 29 mpg - it doesn't feel like it when the gauge drops a fast as it does. But I love it......it's just such great car.
