Recaro seats - same style as Cossies?

I've been looking at some Recaro seat covers on the t'internet, and I can't find any listed as being for the Audi RS2, but the ones shown for the Ford Sierra Cossie (and maybe Escort RS Turbo) look to be a similar style.

Does anybody know if they are the same basic style (I know the Ford ones don't have the electrical bits like the S2 ones) so that a fitted cover for them, would then fit the Audi RS2 Recaro's? I ask about RS2 as I know my seat came from an RS2, but I presume they're the same as the S2's?

Be listed under Audi 80, Recaro's are basically the same for any given model it's the base with runners that is different per car.

Key Walshe: look for escort xr2i, i got mine from one of them. Need to be retrimmed, they are ugly as hell...

yeah have some of them too for mine.....still trying to decide what to re-trim them too I have never seen covers listed on ebay for the recaro's and I did go through a good local contact at a stealer who found pricing on the original S2 recaro option fit seats and those are a long time NLA i'm afraid. fyi, the base cover alone (minus the thigh bloster cover) was over £160 plus the VAT!!!

Snap on do a seat cover that fits recaro's quite nicely, I had some on one of my old cars.

i have rs2 seats in my s2 and they are plug&play
