    How to. . . ?

I wondered if anyone knows how to remove and refit the small black triangular plastic trim found at the inside front of the drivers side window?

On my car this bit is responsible for a whole load of squeeking whilst driving over our fine british roads. It's now getting to the point that it's soooooooo annoying, it's radio on loud, or drive along with hand on it to shut it up!

Would appreciate any tips on how it's held in place and is removed etc as I bet they too are NLA and I don't want to break it on my first attempt!

    Muchos gracias!

IIRC they are available but they're massively expensive so careful with it!

Its a torx type screw holding it on IIRC

Maybe get some sticky backed foam or felt in there to stop the squeakies ?

Paul - good call. But first, I think maybe I'll try some GT85 before even removing it.
Supposed to be some teflon in that and hopefully a coating will remain after the rest evaporates. Might not then need door card removal. Otherwise, I think I've got some VAG Parts S2/RS2 sticky plaster left. (Read anti rattle felt tape)

Update - GT85 has worked a treat so far. Recommend it as a first step.

Does anyone have a good UK source for this anti-rattle felt tape ?

I've had a good search on eBay to no effect - maybe I can't see any for looking... I have a rattle/squeak at the back the allroad that has been driving me absolutely mad so I ripped out all the tailgate trim to silence it - needs rebuilt with some tape in selected locations.
