anything about the door speaker pods in the photo above?

Allows one to mount a good sized speaker in addition to the standard dash ones.

I have a 5.25" (I think) driver in the doors....can't recall the exact size cos I fitted them 10+ yrs ago ...and I have the tweeters under the stock grills in the dash

Did you make that trim yourself or purchase it?

That is the original door card for cars with passenger side airbag.

It doesent fit a normal door card.

Sure. But you also need the dash, to mach. it is also different.
