which adhesive will work on the interior plastics?

    Hi everyone...

I am finally repairing all the issues caused by the incompetence of Autoglass...

The interior trim strips down each side of the windscreen have had all their tabs snapped off.... these push into metal fixings. Unfortunately, all that now stops the trims from rattling is the door seal....

Does anyone know what adhesive would be able to fix this?

I was thinking of plumbers pvc cement, but then, are the plastics made of polystyrene?

    Any advice gratefully received...!

    Cheers

Actually, having read alot about this on the net, can anybody confirm what type of plastic the interior trims are made from? I am expacting it to be polystyrene and not ABS, but does anybody know?

This is key to choosing the correct type of adhesive product.

    Thanks

I'm reasonably sure it's polypropylene (PP).
