I reckon it would be possible i would need to source some suspension and buy various bushes bolts gaskets ect, i have been toying with the idea but it did seem like a very large step backwards considering the engine ect i did have.

Thread hijack!! sorry Le S2 Audi

Would it be possible to have a couple of weekends work and get the s2 back so its running/rolling so you get some use out of it? It looked like it wouldn't take much when I was down there.

I have still got everyting at the moment, if i dont get any reasonable offers i will probably leave it all in the garage for a couple of years till things level out.
As for the benefits thing all i can say is Shocking, the page in the sun yesterday says it all, it dosent pay to be an honest worker these days.
One of my co workers is living in his van at the moment following a visit from the baliffs! yet people who havent done a days work lord it up in 5 bed houses....

OE 22kg, Speeds 19kg ready to fit.

You can fit them but the Recaro frames are superior as they use the OE runners instead of universal runners and so are lower.

a lot of the weight is the height adjustment subframe, you could bin that and drill a few speed holes in the base, they'd each be about 6-8 kg lighter I think
