    replacement switches and other questions

    Replacement switches..

Having not seen or been in any other S2s I'm confused about the central switches and other things , so I'd like to ask a few questions...

    1) Are they all supposed to be rocker switches or are they supposed to stay repressed when you press them?

    2) What's the difference with the Heated rear window switch I apparently need
    4A0941503C01C

Is it something to do with the switch also powering the heated door mirrors and water jets?

    3) Any one know how to get off the centre console to get at the bulbs for the thermostat knoba and the gauges below?

    4) Replacing the electric window switches and mirror moving jobbie thing, easy job? Can't see nay screws but am loathe to go at it with a screwdriver...

    5) last question - (exterior question so apologies) I have a 3b S2, can I just use a replacement drivers side wing from any coupe?

    thanks in advance

      1) some stay in, some stay out
      2) there are 2 versions, one normal, one with 10min time automatic turnoff, recognizable by its lenght and it stays out, all of them power also el. mirrors and jets
      5) yes you can

3 and 4 are long answers, im in a hurry...

        4) Remove the armrest from the door - the switch/control "thingy" is then easy to change
