Help!! Need To Identify These Recaro Quattro Seats

I have just bought these hoping they would be suitable for my S2 coupe...

Thought I had just bagged a bargain.... But Guess not....

They are Quattro badged & have Recaro stickers on the base... but seem to be from a saloon... I did lost of research on ETKA and all it shows for 80/90 etc as Recaro sports seats use the same base as the S2/RS2's and have the release for the back... But I dont think they are...

Can someone help me identify what thay are so I can move them on....

I have a pair... of them needless to say!!

    Thanks....

They look like early B5 quattro/S4 seats.
Just some finishing touches to do now

Look exactly the same as the S6 (c4) seats I have in my 90 and the seats also in my dads S6 (c4), however they are leather but otherwise same
Has the seatbelt click been welded on?

        They would appear to from a 100 s4 or a 100 2.8q.

I just fitted an almost identical pair to my s2. You need to swap the bases over as described in a thread by Pete (Acidburn), Error404 has also converted his to tilt.

They are worth what somebody is prepared to pay for them, I bought mine (heated with switches) on here for £50, they needed a good clean.

They are better seats than stock s2 in my opinion, appeal for me was cheap, bolt in OEM upgrade.

                    Have to agree there M8...

TBH I think I may just keep 'em and get 'em recoverd which is gonna cost me a lot less than trying to find a set of OEM recaro's... which are getting silly money...

This is assuming that its not too difficult adapting them to a Coupe....

                      Making the seats bolt in is easy, see here;

Making them tilt is a lot more work, again see above thread.

Have to agree on the £50 got a whole leather S6 interior for that
Adapting them is easy, as long have two height adjustable bases, I only had a driver side so had to cut and weld the legs. One thing I had an issues with was the seatbelt click, which why I asked has it been welded in place, as I cut one of mine and change angle of it abit. However they are high tensile steel so have to do very neat welds, and on both sides if using regular mild steel filler. However S2 bases and click might work better for all I know

unfortunately sounds like someone's made a few quid out of you. If they was in the darker material it might be worth a bit more as its an easy swap into a avant etc, just a shame not many avants have the lighter trim.
