Common as muck these things.......... probably are in a UR... Need to get the rears reupholstered to match..

Best seats available in my view, much better than my B5 RS4 seats.. Though B7's do look good..

Recaro Speeds in mine, can't find any pics at the mo. They're not for the larger lady tho I fit but only just Great for track use, wirtually the support of a bucket.

S3 Recaros. Don't consider if you're much more than 6 feet tall though (or shorter but want space for a helmet).

Speeds and Recaro frames give a 1" drop so no problems with my helmet hitting the ceiling.

Great seats but not so good for a road car. RS2 recaros from Ebay.de would be the ultimate way to go

Had them in for a while and they're not so bad. Quite comfortable for a couple of hours TBH. Only issue is reversing as the shoulder support limits rear visibility slightly and sitting lower makes that rear wing a little bit more in the way!

Must not be as deep as mine then, i am pretty fit, but tall and its annoying getting in and out, it would break me every day.

I agree with the ergonomics and also agree about reversing and do you have the slight bit of steering wheel in view and not the end of the bonnet by a long shot?

Yeah, they take a bit of getting used to. The Recaros out of an Evo IX (as friend has these) have the same backs but a much more user friendly base with smaller bolsters. You can go for teh Speed Cross seats but they're a lot of £ for what they are...

I can't see the outside temp display without sitting up, the same with the front of the car. Again, you get used to it after a while... a consequence of the small glass area on the coupe methinks.

RS2 recaros are more comfortable but are ultimately not as supportive (although they're lightyears ahead of the OE seats) and buckets are more supportive again... all depends on budget and use really... if my car went back to my only form of transport then I'd be looking at RS2 Recaros or equivalent.
