    Aux Dials

    Hi Guys
Does anyone know how to split the centre aux dials. I purchased new white background as original one peeling. I have mangaged to get the centre consol out, pretty straight forward and now I have the bad dial removed, but I cannot see where I can disassamble without damaging the dial.

You have to carefully prise off the bezel using a flat bladed screwdriver... no easy fix there I'm afraid. Just take your time, it'll take a while to do it but the more care you take, the better the end result.

When putting the bezels back on, I just put an indent every 5mm or so, it's all hidden by the trim when you put it all back together.

Thanks Rusty, I see what you mean by tricky, and without causing to much damage. Want to get it done before the footie starts.

What about the needle itself? does that just pull off?

Yes, be careful though. If you have some fingernails then that will help, otherwise a teaspoon or small fork can be used as a lever.

Before you remove the dials, take a clear picture of each gauge so that you know where the needles sit, they're not on the 0 point when stationary but about 5mm off.
