    RE: S2 Subframe

I would like to thank all members who came to my asistance when I needed the subframe. As you all know I eventually purchased a spare SF from Audibitzs in Dumfries, and contrary to all advice it turned out to be a good purchase. It was in practically A1 condition and still had the original paint on it, and it just needed a slight clean up before fitting. Many thanks to Leathen Motors for doing the fitting, my only complaint being leaving their grubby hand prints on my paintwork.

I still have one tech issue to resolve and I'm hoping some members can help me out. I asked about this in a previous thread, but never solved the problem. My computer light check still maintains there is a dud bulb on the circuit, but having gone round the car and double checked, I still can't find a faulty light, and don't forget the car just passed it's MOT. I thought at first that the internal light clusters were part of the same circuit, but having gone through the wiring diagram, I can't see any connection.

Now that I'm going back offshore to work, the car will be laid up for months on end, so if any members are interested in buying an absolute cracker, then drop me a PM.

    Thanks again

Good to hear shes back on the road!

Regarding the check bulb issue, does your car have an aftermarket HID/zenon kit fitted?

If so its a relativly easy fix.

Also check that the rear brake lights have the correct twin filiment bulbs in as i've seen a few cars that people have put the wrong one's in.

No aftermarket kits fitted, but she does have eclipsoids? fitted from original.
Yes I do have the correct twin filament bulbs on the light/brake circuit, I even double checked that both the number plate lights are working, although I did find some slight corrosion on the connectors, but cleaned that up.

'K pin' mod removes the front light circuit, if there's corrosion in the circuit then it could trigger the bulb checker.
