Instruments died, tacho, speedo ,etcc !!!

Hello !

car was doing fine until yesterday all of a sudden the tachometer went dead, followed by everything else! speedo, water temp, fuel, aux gauges, all of them not working !!

Could it be fuses? conectors ? where do i need to check ??

Help please I have a trip soon!!

Isn't this a common symptom of a failed ignition switch? I know on the C4 UrS4/S6 this would be the cause. Not sure about an ABY S2 coupe but I think the switches are very similar (if not identical) and they do fail, resulting in various electrical circuits not working.
