    Battery warning as shift light

Hello, I've seen a couple of videos where they've manage to use the battery warning from the dash board as a shift light, how can I do this ???

    Ex:

    Cheers,

its not the battery light its the roof opening / closing light as used on the cabriolet.

I'd imagine its just an empty bulb holder on an S2. looks like they've stuck the shift light bulb into it.

      It's very easy.
The signal to the speedo is analog.
Just tap that signal and once the voltage is over a certain amount activate the light...
Can even use a simple potentiometer to make it adjustable.

Yeah sorry, I meant tacho (actually instrument cluster...).
If it's digital just use a DAC, they are cheap...

Either way, this is extremely easy to do.
